Growing Bright Futures: Steve Terry

Addison Consulting Principal and past VP of Green Mountain
Power, discusses the importance of public understanding about child
development and the critical role played by high quality care. Steve serves
as an adviser to Let's Grow Kids. He explains why he took on this
important role as a volunteer, the critical elements of effectively
building public will, and the challenges and opportunities we are facing in
Vermont right now for families with young children. He also shares his
career trajectory and his experiences raising a family in Addison County.

DCF Challenge 4/15/15

Six teams from the elementary schools in the Addison Central Supervisory Union compete in a trivia contest on the 30 books from the Dorothy Canfield Fisher list. Students who read 5 or more of the books on the list are eligible to vote on the #1 favorite. The annual challenge features mixed teams from the elementary schools, and this year was emceed by Tricia Allen of the Ilsley Public Library.
